I am an Assistant Principal Officer in the Economics Division in the Department of Finance working on fiscal economics. My previous experience in the Department of Finance includes working as an Assistant Principal Officer in the Banking Division on the Retail Banking Review and working as an Administrative Officer in the Economics Division on fiscal economics . Before rejoining the Department, I was a senior analyst/investigator in the Competition Enforcement and Mergers division of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. I am a graduate of the Master of economics program at Tilburg University with a specialisation in competition policy and regulation. After graduating from Tilburg university I briefly joined the Bank of Ireland graduate programme before beginning my career in the civil and public services as a Graduate Economist through the IGEES stream.I completed my bachelor degree in Trinity college Dublin and achieved an upper second class single honors in economics through the business, economics and social studies (BESS) program in 2016. In 2021 I completed the post graduate diploma in competition law with Kings College London as part of my role with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. I am currently pursuing the Msc in Data Analytics with UCD part-time looking to graduate in 2025.
