While I completed my final year of university, studying a PG Diploma in Digital Marketing, Communication, and Leadership, I sought out ways to continuously develop my skills in production, videography and editing. I feel fortunate to have worked on a range of projects, from music videos, to a wedding, to a vast amount of short films and documentaries with a Belfast-based social enterprise; Voicing the Void. This organisation utilises the practice of restorative storytelling to forster personal growth and soicetal change through individual, authentic, and real perspectives from all corners of society. Working on many storytelling projects with those from a range of backgrounds has definitely been an eye-opener and has allowed me to develop my skills in teamwork, strategic thinking, timekeeping, brand identity, consistency, and brand voice.

In this role, my communication, team-working and multi-tasking skills are crucial. I have found myself reacting to any situation with a positive attitude - no matter how stressful a situation is or how much pressure there is to perform efficiently.I have been trained in countless stations - from customer service to production; and sometimes both at once. No matter where my career takes me, I will always be grateful for the core skills and experiences have gained as a Crew Member in McDonalds.

As a student, this role has given me genuine industry experience. My research skills have been immensely expanded - as well as my skills in development. I assisted the development team in working up story ideas as well as writing up treatments/one sheets. Helping organise location recce and speaking to potential contributors has given me unique communication skills - which I wouldn’t have acquired otherwise. This is all due to working with an extraordinary team of industry professionals, where I learned from them as well as working with them.

Exclusively a Summer job; working with children in the outdoors at Gortatole's Summer Camps. Involves being a team leader of approximately ten 11-14 year olds and part-taking in outdoor activities such as hillwalking, canoeing, wall climbing and caving.
