This remit includes toy safety, low voltage electrical equipment, personal protective equipment (recreational & consumer), appliances burning gaseous fuels (domestic), and the safety of other general products.Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Safety Gate RAPEX system, in my capacity as a National Contact Point for the Republic of Ireland. Facilitating the flow of information and liaison between all participating market surveillance authorities in Ireland (e.g., HSA, HPRA, HSE) with the European Commission.
