With functional responsibility for a multi-disciplinary team consisting of fifty-five staff. I was responsible for the introduction of Agile / Scrum and launched new multi-disciplinary product teams, which undertook and executed the development of our next-generation core configurable product.Responsible for customer success teams ensuring every customer can meet their go-live and upgrade deadlines, ongoing maintenance of the Cúram platform including 3rd party currency & security. I was tasked by the Director of development to revitalise the QA organisation including the FVT, SVT, & performance teams, I also moved the various people involved in DevOps roles into a new team aligned with the QA organisation. I brought significant investment and focus to the automated delivery pipeline, including test automation in addition to DevOps and automation in general. Implemented a number of quality initiatives across all areas, including code reviews, target measures for unit-test coverage and increased focus on non-functional testing and exploratory testing.

In my role as development manager for the Income Support department within Cúram I had responsibility for all software deliveries within the team. I worked closely with all Cúram managers to ensure quality and release timelines were being met (with over 100 releases per annum). Worked closely with all groups (FVT, SVT / Performance) and other internal Cúram teams to ensure deliverables were being consumed correctly. With the responsibility for the line management of all Income Support personnel within the department. I ensured training plans were in place for all staff suitable for their role and advancement. This included training programmes for new joiners to gain experience required while ensuring that mentoring was in place from day one. Provided weekly communications on progress for all deliverable to executives and senior product managers to ensure a good understanding of plans, schedule, key dependencies between teams and progress where highlighted.

I held multiple positions as both a Technical Consultant and Software Developer in the product development teams. As a consultant my role was onsite with customers helping each one leverage the full capabilities of the Cúram product, from requirements to design & implementation my role was to ensure that each customer achieved a successful go-live with the product tailored to their unique solution needs. Within product development I worked across multiple teams in designing and building the product, bringing back my experiences from the field with customers I had a unique perspective on how the product should evolve to meet the needs of customers into the future.
