These resulted in a set of floor plans, elevations and 3d renderings for the client.-Producing full set of engineering drawings, including detailed floor plans, sections, elevations, foundation plans, electrical, plumbing, panel drawings.-Communicating with Stuctural Engineers, HVAC Engineers, Electrical Engineers, etc, to determine and implement specific project requirements that fit customers budget, the materials available, and conditions and regulations pertaining to project location.-Conducted in factory inspections of all projects to ensure building code specifications, and CSA requirements were being met and surpassed. Daily in-factory meetings with project managers and construction-lead workers to solve issues found during construction.-Managed the complete changeover from Autocad 2d drafting to Revit over the course of 6 months, implementing BIM management. This resulted in a more efficient drafting process, speeding up the design process and reducing errors.-Implemented the use of Strucsoft MWF Advanced Metal to automate the process of framing the entire project in light gauge steel, create material schedules, cut lists, framing elevations and fully dimension-ed shop drawings. Following communication with city planners, permits were granted.- Supervised the safe collection and disposal of hazardous materials from existing structure. Full clearance was awarded from the Ministry of Labour following inspection.- Research and development on brownfield redevelopment methods and grants suitable for the proposed development; the plan developed is currently being considered by the FCM for both financial grants and as a model project for reclaiming brownfield sites.- Consultation with environmental experts on Phase 1, Phase 2 and Site Specific Risk Assessment plans for redevelopment.
