With 15 years’ experience in the construction and civil engineering industries, I have acquired extensive knowledge across all aspects of the construction of building and infrastructure projects, including water/wastewater treatment, water metering, road construction and heavy civils, bridge works, culvert replacements and cycleway construction and in the procurement of educational, healthcare, industrial and commercial buildings. In addition to this, I have an in depth knowledge of project management and planning, resource management, financial management, commercial management and tendering, business development and project procurement. I made use of this experience in my position as Business Development Coordinator at JJ Rhatigan & Company. Here, I dealt with the identification and preparation of bids for current procurement opportunities in Ireland on both sides of the border and in the Greater London region, as well as the coordination of Design Teams and JV partnerships. In June 2021, I took on a new role within the company to lead the drive to ensure that all JJ Rhatigan staff have access to the training and development opportunities necessary to fulfil their roles and will work with all of my colleagues to achieve this aim.In December 2021, i took the decision to join TRIUR Construction, a rapidly growing and progressive civil engineering company, specialising particularly in Rail and Bridge work.Based at the company's Head Office in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, I hold Level 8 (Honours) Degree in Civil Engineering Management from Limerick Institute of Technology on a part time basis, achieving First Class Honours.
