I am passionate about the intersection of language, the human brain, and artificial intelligence. With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Linguistics and a Master’s in Cognitive Science from the University of Trento, I currently focus on the neuroscience of language, exploring how natural language functions both as a human faculty and as an emergent property in modern AI systems.I specialize in computational approaches to natural language processing (NLP), leveraging tools like Python and MATLAB, along with expertise in linear algebra, statistical testing, and neural data analysis. Designing, evaluating, and refining computational models that bridge linguistic theory with neural data is my bread and butter—this is where I practice new insights into cognitive processes and advance my understanding in this field.Beyond technical expertise, I excel in experimental design, critically assessing methodologies, and effectively engaging in scientific communication, which I find both stimulating and rewarding. My passion for discovery drives me to explore how artificial systems can help to disentangle connections between language, cognition, and neural processes.As my undergrads days are coming to an end, I aspire to pursue a PhD at the nexus of neuroscience and AI, contributing to current research that crack the brain’s mechanisms for processing language and models emergent cognitive abilities in artificial systems. My interests lie in fields like neuro-semantics, brain-inspired AI, and the interpretability of neural systems, integrating biological and artificial intelligence perspectives to enhance our understanding of human cognition.
