The Massachusetts Cannabis Business Association (MassCBA) is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to be the convener, voice, and advocate for the Commonwealth’s cannabis business community, including businesses providing ancillary services.MassCBA is dedicated to ensuring that its membership fully reflects the businesses that make up the entirety of Massachusetts’ cannabis economy with a goal to grow the industry into a vibrant, world-class, and welcomed partner by our Commonwealth’s 351 cities and towns. My primary purpose is to help automate the collection of data from within laboratory and industrial facilities through mobile devices (iPad and Windows Mobile tablets). Through the development of custom mobile forms I've built processes that allow users to enter a facility; track inventories, events ,accidents, and various issues. The data is then pushed to SharePoint. From SharePoint I've developed procedures (SSIS packages or Nintex workflows) that pull the data into SQL Server databases and aggregate data via views that are used for reporting and dashboards. That's just the tip of the iceberg but a substantial portion of my day to day.
