I began working in the field of architecture full-time in 2016 and earned my license in 2021. I currently work as a Project Architect and Project Manager at Ronnie McGhee & Associates. I am experienced in both Revit and AutoCAD, in addition to many other programs. I regularly coordinate a diverse group of stakeholders, owners, and consultants. I have a wide range of experience from managing projects in both the public and private sector, including a range of projects for DC Government, Multi-family Residential and Development, and Historic Preservation.I received my Bachelor of Architecture from Philadelphia University in 2011 and my Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a certification in Nonprofit and Nongovernmental Organization from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2015. As part of my Master's degree, I participated in the Master International Program where I served as a Peace Corps volunteer for just over two years in the country of Macedonia. During my service in the Peace Corps I was an essential leader at my primary assignment, a youth center for high-risk teens, where I designed and implemented two summer camps in addition to a variety of workshops and language programs. I helped to design a community space for a mountain village in the western part of the country and create floor plans for a school house renovation. I am experienced in software programs essential to the architecture profession, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Suite. I can work both locally and in the cloud. I have a strong work ethic that I bring not only to my volunteer work but also to my professional work. As a result of my Peace Corps service, I learned how to be highly self-motivated, flexible, team-oriented, and how to see a project to completion.
