Promoted to dayside EP where I oversee 7-8 producers across 4.5 hours of news from 4pm-6:30pm, 7pm-7:30pm and 10pm-11:30pm. Checking scripts and showcasing to fulfill the mission of each newscast. Approve reporter scripts as needed to ensure the best possible workflow for the producing team.

Helped to create NBC12's first podcast titled, "How We Got Here." Each episode looks back at a week in Virginia history and brings listeners small segments featuring events/people/places with historical significance around Virginia. I conduct research for each segment and interview historians on the topics that I find. After gathering that information I write the episodes and work alongside two co-workers as they voice/edit each segment and episode. Overseeing the news side of the 2018, 2019 and 2022 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaways in Richmond, Virginia. Wrote VO, VO/SOT, and TEASE scripts to run during shows to promote campaign. Worked alongside the Marketing Department and Sales Team to promote the months-long giveaway, where viewers could buy $100 tickets for their chance to win a brand new house. All of the funds from ticket sales went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Through the two campaigns (and ongoing third) we raised $2+ million dollars (surpassed $1 million mark in 2019 campaign alone). 2018 was the first year the station was involved in the project, so I had to coordinate the news side of things with no prior experience/knowledge of what to expect.

Produced weekend evenings for 11 months directly out of college, and was then promoted to the 5pm newscast.Show often contained 3+ live reporters fronting VO/SOTs, along with 1 franchise PKG. The remainder of the show is 15+ VOs or anchor-read VO/SOTs and weather. Special Projects Experience: Apart from podcast - worked alongside Investigative Reporter Rachel DePompa to go undercover to expose a car dealership for selling a car with a rolled back odometer. Previously helped bring real-time results to viewers during the Richmond, VA mayor's race in November 2016. Created Excel spreadsheet to calculate districts to determine winner. Created and managed Excel spreadsheet to calculate data on a Lottery piece for sweeps. Received state data on which stores in Virginia had sold tickets (scratchoffs and lotto) that won $100,000 or more in the past 5 years. Researched over the course of a few days to find the "luckiest" store in Virginia.-Field produced the aftermath of the shooting of Congressman Scalise in Alexandria, VA in June 2017. Coordinated 13 live shots in 10 minute windows for Raycom (now Gray) stations throughout the southeast.

Organizing 15-20 students each night throughout the dining hall making sure that everything is running smoothly and being done the right way. Assist the manager with payroll operations, ensuring that the student workers are being paid the right amount for their hours worked.
