Managed all warehouse operations for multiple departments including a crew of ~85 (people from 6 am to 11pm) including 3 assistant managers and 6-8 supervisors. Coordinated Continuous Improvement projects amongst my departments and multiple departments across the company including, Human Resources, Safety, Maintenance, software development, IT, product processing, receiving, shipping, retail outlets, auction sales, online sales, and ownership. My teams were responsible for the processing and preparation of over $50 million of product. I planned, designed, and implemented a series of improvement projects with my assistant managers, supervisors and our teams that streamlined outdated clunky processes and helped result in a 40% increase in revenue in my first 1 year as manager, while also overall cutting costs at the same time. Assisted in all warehouse operations and training during some of the most difficult times we've experienced in the supply chain. Helped keep morale up and processing moving despite massive labor shortages and 3-4 times the inventory to process. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions I took on an integral role helping our developers launch our curbside program we were working on. Due to this I became the manager of our curbside program, gaining some experience using Shopify, a little SQL, improved my customer service skills and created many new processes for efficient stocking, picking, packing, inventory management and customer service.

Always being intrigued by business, after returning home from a 2 year church mission, I began selling items around my house on EBAY. I found I could make as much money on my own as my friends were making at their college jobs. Selling new and used goods online allowed me to work my own hours while attending university full-time. I became a self taught entrepreneur and began selling on multiple online platforms including Ebay, Amazon, Etsy, Facebook marketplace and a few other sites. I educated myself on thousands of items and hundreds of brands. I loved being responsible for my own success and failures. I loved learning on my own and fighting each day for growth in my little start up business. I created an entire Microsoft spreadsheet to track my sales, profit margins, expenses to make decisions based on my data. I started learning about photography and accounting. I loved business so much I decided to change my major from biomedical engineering and pursue a degree in operations & supply chain management.
