Colt has consulted with over 100 organizations across North America, Europe, and Asia, leveraging his finance, intelligence, and policy expertise to support nonprofits, for-profits, and government clients.Earlier in his career, Colt was a U.S. Army Military Police Officer, where he completed foreign and domestic assignments, later joining the Defense Intelligence Agency to conduct counter-terrorism and telecommunications analysis in Southeast Asia. This foundation in discipline, strategy, and intelligence informs his current work.As founder and president of VentureHire, he specialized in executive search for high-growth tech firms. As North America's Managing Director of Talent Acquisition for TriNet, he built human capital solutions for emerging companies. This depth of experience shapes his work at Alera Group's Compensation Practice, where he leads a team dedicated to transforming how organizations approach compensation.Outside of work, Colt is a self-proclaimed recovering workaholic and passionate futurist, deeply engaged in economic and demographic trends, conservation, and history.
