DCS CONSOLE OPERATOR• Qualified to run the DCS console (Delta V) and 2 field jobs. Exceptionally skilled to run within SOC’s in the Monomer unit while also correcting any issues that come about using problem solving skills.• Very well familiar with making my own trends using Aspin Process Explorer and plotting process flows, valve positions and various pressures.• Proficient in maintaining communication with the outside operators to make sure everyone is on the same page.• Run lab samples and record all of them into the lab sample database. Proficient in running pH, TOC, gas chromatograph, phosphate, chlorine and various other samples.• Lock out equipment for M/C and E/C repairs.• Take readings inside on the DCS and outside in the field on pump discharge gauges, temperature gauges and various levels.• Use forklifts to load and unload.• Do some M/C work such as change out valves and change out some lines/tubing.• Make sure to clear any lines of polymer during process upsets. This includes pump suction lines, overflows on esterifiers and impulse lines on transmitters.• Experienced being a leader over a certain area during turnarounds which includes blanking a vessel for entry.• Participate in a safety meeting at the beginning of every shift to go over any safety issues.• Follow procedures for startup, shutdown and any other emergency issues.• Proficient in writing safe work permits and hot work permits

• Follow out P&ID’s and tag all equipment that is included on the drawing• This is recorded into a database with numbered tags so that it is easier to locate a piece of equipment• Use manlifts to get to equipment that is too tall to reach• Work close with operations if a piece of equipment cannot be located on the drawing.

• Responsible for making poly sheeting using an extruder• Pellets are melted, formed into poly sheeting and then processed through a winder• Cut the poly sheeting with a box cutter once it was to the required length and then packaged it into a box• Performance various M/C jobs on the job like pulling apart plugged equipment and replacing it with clean and working parts.• Troubleshot the process of making the product when something would go wrong
