I am a Computer Engineering student at Virginia Tech and expect to graduate in 2026. I discovered my passion for engineering when I began programming at a young age. I love the challenge of finding elegant and reusable solutions to problems. I chose Computer Engineering as I not only want to continue learning software but also broaden my knowledge beyond just software and understand how computers work at a fundamental level. Over the past 6 years, I've developed skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS, and have experience with C/C++, Java, and C#. My current focus is on improving my skills in lower-level languages like C/C++ and tackling projects that bridge hardware and software.I have a strong affinity for the design side of programming and code architecture. My role as a lead contributor on the open-source project Sollumz, which has over 88,000 downloads and a thriving Discord community of 12,000 members, has honed these skills. This project required me to manage a growing codebase that underwent many refactorings. Through this project, I’ve learned the importance of modular and readable code in the software development lifecycle.In addition to my academics, I freelance as a web developer, using Next.js, Tailwind, and Netlify to build websites for small businesses.   Worked with the researchers to create a Flask app that provides an easy way to interface with their molecular property prediction models. Met continuously with lab members as I iterated over different designs and added new features. Included in the paper "STOPLIGHT: A Hit Scoring Calculator".
