The Student Water Research Program (SWRP) is a self support program of Portland State University's Environmental Science and Management Department which uses the cooperation of teachers, students, scientists, businesses, governmental agencies, and community groups to couple watershed education with the collection of high quality data. • Presented research proposal at Portland State from field experience. • My particular research focused on Caddisfly shell development over a fourteen year data grab, linking specific water quality parameters to changes in shell growth, development speed, and shell material. • It is the mission of SWRP to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment leading to responsible behavior and constructive actions with regard to water quality and watershed resources.
