Dave is a collaborative, team-oriented Senior Project Manager with over 23 years of experience in groundwater services, water resources, environmental sciences and project management. He is responsible for coordinating and organizing teams of diverse subject matter experts and providing technical leadership to solve today's water resource challenges. Technical expertise subject areas include groundwater modeling, surface water/groundwater interaction, riverbank filtration (RBF), soil aquifer treatment (SAT), managed aquifer recharge (MAR) /aquifer storage and recovery (ASR), and subsidence caused by groundwater pumping. Dave is the Groundwater Team Leader responsible for managing staff, resources, and schedules for a group of hydrogeologists providing groundwater services.He conducts and supervises hydrogeologic investigations, including project management, aquifer characterization and testing, geologic and hydrologic modeling (including MODFLOW), hydrogeophysics, expert testimony, and water rights support. Groundwater modeling work includes automated calibration (PEST and UCODE), multi-model analysis (MMA), stochastic modeling, parallel processing, 3-D geologic modeling, and uncertainty analysis. Dave holds a B.S. in Geology from Syracuse University (1996), and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines (2002). Dave is a licensed Professional Geologist in Texas, Idaho, and Wyoming. He is a certified Project Management Professional and completed the Colorado Foundation for Water Education Water Leader training course in 2011. Dave is the AWRA Colorado President Elect. Dave is happiest while playing in the mountains with his wife and two daughters.
