Commercial Electronics (Jersey) Limited was formed back in 1976 by Dick Ray, former owner of the Jersey Opera House, and the main purpose of the Company at that time was to install, repair & service lighting & sound equipment in the many cabaret venues around the Island.Purchased from Dick back in 1991 by Cristin Bouchet & David Wilson, who had already been managing the Company for some years, Commercial Electronics gradually broadened its base of services to encompass Schools… Show more Commercial Electronics (Jersey) Limited was formed back in 1976 by Dick Ray, former owner of the Jersey Opera House, and the main purpose of the Company at that time was to install, repair & service lighting & sound equipment in the many cabaret venues around the Island.Purchased from Dick back in 1991 by Cristin Bouchet & David Wilson, who had already been managing the Company for some years, Commercial Electronics gradually broadened its base of services to encompass Schools, Colleges, Churches, in fact anywhere AV equipment was required.Milestones include the supply & installation of all Technical & Staging equipment into the Jersey Opera House in 2001 following a complete restoration including a full flying system, Audio by D & B, Strand Lighting dimmers, Control Desk & lanterns by various manufacturers.More recently we were pleased to supply a high definition projection system including an 11 metre wide demountable rear project screen to allow the Theatre to show live Broadway Shows via satellite.Recent projects have included Drama Studio installations in Ladies College Guernsey, Jersey College for Girls & Elizabeth College in Guernsey. We are currently installing an Information Display System in a dozen of the wards at the General Hospital Jersey, utilizing Smart Board Interactive Whiteboards. Show less
