So much pride and ego in that field/culture, now looking back it was limiting my progression. In business I am a critical thinking sponge, happy to ask anyone who knows the answer, questions, listen intently, write down the answers and apply them in my own way.

Started this job around my 1st year of University. As one of the senior staff members, I take on more of a leadership role. I love dealing with people but the main reason I keep this job is; sentimental attachment. As I first started to build my life right around the time I started at Olive Garden in 2014 (almost 7 years ago...).... the place, the staff, the managers all mean a lot to me.Time flies!

Personal trainer (& held group classes) for women exclusively between ages of 20 and 85. As the only Male on the premise, I was a personal trainer for Women, at the Women's Only Shapes. I took pride working with, teaching and learning from predominately elderly aged women. A lot of clients were ex-professionals so I had to always be on point. With that being said, my main goal with every client was to teach them as much as possible so they can carry the knowledge of anatomy, rehab, injury prevention, nutrition, mobility, physiology and training with them for the rest of their lives.

Prof/Mentor Dr. Adrian Weber gave me the opportunity to mark Lab Reports, Assignments, Tests and Exams for the 2nd Year Chemistry Course - Inorganic Chemistry.This is an extremely sought after position in the sciences, with many above-qualified 4.0 GPA+ applicants, the Job Position is typically awarded to the highest academic achievers.

After my 1st Year of University. Dr. Josh Hollett hired me as an independent Researching Assistant. This was a position many students were daunted from entertaining. But... I love a challenge! Dr. Hollett is a well respected Computational Quantum Chemist/Physicist. The math, calculations, code, ideas, concepts, etc., were extremely foreign at first, but this Job taught me how to adjust to an extremely steep learning curve. I learned how to code, carry-out research, analyze data & papers, construct complicated simulations, all in regards to Computational HIV Drug Design.For example, I would place various computational Ligands (potential HIV drug candidates) in a crystalline HIV structure, code to run an MD simulation, super computers would run the "computational-reaction" and I would receive the results of different interactions/energies of the simulation, compare, etc.

In my first year of University I would do the morning shift at Starbucks, go to school, and make it for 5:00 at Olive Garden right after. This is another sentimental attachment, as I worked here at the beginning of my build up phase in life. Great experience to handle rushes, time management and contributed to the development of my work ethic made of steel.

The "graveyard shift." I was working 1 am - 8 am Monday - Friday, the summer before University. My passion is to help/work with people and although this was a great workout, the hours, the environment, amongst other things left me looking for something else.

My father made me work here at a very young age. Great experience serving, working and meeting older people. Looking back, I am forever grateful for the work ethic that this job instilled. My earliest memories comprise a lot of weekends in High-School that were "sadly" missed due to work, a lot of late nights on school nights, etc... only preparing myself, and foreshadowing for the future to come...

First job ever! My Mother & Baba still work here as one of their many side-jobs. They got me a job folding clothes, general house-keeping, basic retail ops. Since I was too young to work I received hourly pay in Bay gift cards.
