Solid SRE skills capable of managing all facets of the date center. Experience includes diasaster recovery, data management (databases) and backup, security (including privacy policies), writing SLA agreements, purchase orders, architecture/purchasing, networking (including routers, load balancers, message queueing), backups (online, nearline and offline), network storage, telephone systems, web systems (installing, development, etc), ecommerce, hiring, facilities (building walls and contracting), vendor management and more. In my present position, even though it is titled 'Manager', I do far more than the average manager. I am also very capable at staffing. I can read and understand legal contracts. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Specialties: I am very skilled at writing and debugging programming code both by reading the code and by viewing output results. My language of choice is C, but I can write in many other languages including shell scripts and Perl. However, once I reach a certain threshold in a program and performance becomes an issue, I usually go right to C as it's the fastest at managing tasks (yes, faster than Perl or Java).
