After retirement from Unilever I started my own company with the first job: Management of the new office building for Unilever Nederland.This involved a realisation within the factory area (brown field!) and included a complete site restructuring. The project (deBrug) has won several awards for its daring design and implementation.After completion in 2005 I have managed several other projects e.g. new office for Abott industries, housing solution for Kinderdam, restructuring of private house.

As a boardmember responsible for manufacturing & product-development.Implemented large restructuring plans to reduce costs.Implemented quality programs (TQM).Involved in serveral organisational changes and integration processes.

Technical support to divisional management on the manufacturing and engineering area,i.e. advise on large capital investments and restructuring. Managing a small group of technical specialist to support local companies by implementing manufacturing plans.

Overall responsibility for the research activities in process engineering, i.e. a research group of ca. 100 people.

Responsible ( costs,quality and deliveries) for the production of ca. 150.000 t/yr of magarines and fats. The factory runned in a 3-shift operation with in total ca. 300 people.

Started as a researchworker in the processing area of edible fats.Promoted to sectiomanager within the process enginering being responsible for program/bugget of a research group of 15 researchers.

Design and start-up of a new fine-chemicals plant at Amsterdam.
