Music Producer
CurrentI compose live chamber music for concerts, but also specialize in music for dance performance. I spend a lot of time in the recording studio and have produced recordings for Cold Blue Music (LA), Tzadik Records (New York), Bright Green Records (Chicago), STV/Unit (Switzerland), OO Music (LA), Bridge (New York) and other independent labels. I specialize in cutting-edge recordings of classical performance, but have also produced a large portfolio of electronic pop music. As a producer, I cull from a long background in theater and have composed and directed original operas that integrate technology as a key element of staging. I work with a specific production team but am available to direct and produce with other teams in the areas of opera, dance, and theater. I am also a chamber music coach and work privately with composition students and performers and ensembles offering direction and production advice.
