Applications Instructor
CurrentTrainer in a large law firm, working directly with Staff and Lawyers. My role is a mix of educator, instructor, best practices and productivity coach, skills assessor, and training material designer. As part of the training team, the trainer will prepare and deliver training to personnel in virtually all of the firm’s offices, either through video conference, web conference, or other distance learning methods, or by occasional travel for periods of up to a week. Furthermore, the trainer from time to time served as a 2nd tier support resource to aid customers in finding the best ways to accomplish difficult or complex tasks that are beyond the ability of the firm’s User Support Center analysts.* Created Monthly training Journal. Every month I came up with two tips and tricks to improve employees’ efficiencies. Most employees looked forward on reviewing the Monthly Journal.* Researched and created story boards to use for in-house instructional videos.* Saved the Estate and Planning department 1.5 hours per Estate planning document through the use of Word Styles Sets. The department was spending an average of 2 hours to reformat such documents after state planning software finish creating it.* Class attendance was almost non existent. I came up with the idea to create productivity tips and tricks on frequently used software. It became the most popular class.* Trained new employees on using the firm’s applications.* Became the to go person for Microsoft Excel questions.* Assisted on end-user support after migration to Windows 10 Microsoft Office 2016 and iManage DeskSite.* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), iManage FileSite/DeskSite, Nuance Power PDF, WorkShare Compare, MetaData Assistant, Snagit, Elite Weview, Chrome River, Cisco IP Phone, Windows 10. Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and applications.
