Comra Films is a Yemen-based film foundation and social enterprise whose team has an exceptional international track-record in film & media production as well as an evolving film-training program. In the summer of 2017, having worked closely together for years as independent filmmakers, the team decided to join forces and become Comra Films. Since 2011, the Comra team has produced award-winning independent films as well as high standard production services which have been screened on countless TV channels, festivals, global conferences and universities worldwide.Over the last 6 years, we have trained and collaborated with some of Yemen's most exciting new talent, amassing an unrivalled, burgeoning network of freelance media professionals from across the country.The ground upon which we stand is our perspective. We are a group of Yemeni film professionals who have always aimed to shed light on the most pressing issues our country faces. We are not attached to any state institutions, political factions or receive funding from any other stakeholders.
