As a graduate of Bachelors of Business at Munster Technological University, I have enhanced my natural ability and skills in the business industry specifically in the finance and investment field. I have sought out multiple opportunities to develop my business skills throughout the years and hope to continue to do so for the foreseeable future.Since a young age I have had a passion for business and the industry that surrounds it. At age 16 i started to show my entrepreneurial side when i engaged in buying and selling products in bulk for profit. This taught me valuable skills about entrepreneurship and the many challenges and rewards that come with it. Throughout the years I have acquired many other valuable skills and qualities that I feel will contribute greatly to my present and future career. As i got older i drifted away from my entrepreneurial interests and shifted my focus towards the financial industry. Because of this new found passion i decided to choose particular modules such as Financial Management, Investment Analysis, Corporate Finance and Banking & Financial Markets for my final year of studies in my Bachelors of Business Degree.I started worked in a nightclub at age 18 which has taught me skills such as interpersonal and communication skills, numeracy skills, organisational skills and teamwork skills.At age 20 i began working at Nemeton TV, one of Ireland's largest independent production companies, who produce hundreds of hours of live sports for a whole range of broadcasters. My role as a general producer was to work on these live sports broadcasts. This involved, controlling scoreboards during live games, producing replays of the games and producing the highlights of the game that were to be played at the end. This role developed my skills greatly such as time management skills, concentration skills and especially my skills of working under pressure as many of the games i have worked on would have a live viewership of 5000-10000 people.I believe that my experience in both of these jobs, paired with my Bachelor of Business studies make me a strong candidate for a variety of companies. I am a diligent worker, and passionate about my work. I continue to seek the opportunity to grow and further the development of my business skill set with dynamic work positions.
