Service in the U.S. Army began just after High School graduation, entering the Army as a young Airborne Infantryman assigned to the historical 1st Battalion 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment (Geronimo!). Over 30+ years as a soldier (active duty, reserves & national guard) serving in multiple military occupational specialties to include Infantry, Civil-Affairs, and Military Intelligence. Attained the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7) and then receiving a direct commission serving as a Military Intelligence officer in multiple assignments culminating a fulfilling military career as a Captain (O-3).Multiple deployments to various areas of operations including Honduras, Belize, Haiti, Bosnia Herzegovina, Kosovo and Iraq.Retired February 2022

Associate Director for Security, Department of General Services, serves as the administrator of the D.C. Protective Services Division (formerly the Protective Services Police Department). The Protective Services Division (PSD) is the law enforcement and security agency responsible for the protection of all District of Columbia owned and leased properties. PSD is comprised of approximately 700 uniformed officers (combination of career-service and contract officers) and non-uniformed employees. The agency has a Uniformed Operations Section (Uniformed Officers), Threat Management Section (Physical Security Specialists), and Mission Support Section (Administrative). As a part of the Department of General Services, PSD is responsible for protecting over 800 properties across the District of Columbia.

The GridCast started as three friends who are fans of the fastest growing fitness related sport in the world. We started a video podcast to support other fans around the world. The podcast grew to being listened to and watched in over 95 countries. The show was filled with short features and interviews during regular National Pro Grid League seasons.

Owned and operated a successful CrossFit gym. Founded the gym in a garage in Herndon, VA and grew to a 14,000 sq ft facility in Ashburn, VA with hundreds of members.

Began service as a Federal Air Marshal (FAM) just after the expansion of the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), then a component of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and soon to be a component agency within the the newly formed Department of Homeland Security and Transportation Security Administration (TSA).Starting in the Washington field office and assigned as a mission flying FAM for two years, traveling domestically and internationally protecting the transportation and aviation domain. Moving on to career enhancing and developmental positions within the agency's Investigations Division, Headquarters Training Division, Office of the Director, TSA Office of Public Affairs, Mission Operations Center, and ending at the Washington Field Office as a squad supervisor.Retired from the federal government in 2015 culminating over 25 years of service to the U.S. Government in various capacities. Responsible for the web development and administrative divisions, reporting to the CEO.Position resulted in growing the company’s profits and positioning for a successful acquisition by a large IT company.

Began as a police officer assigned to the patrol division, then reassigned to the 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force, proudly serving the citizens of Arkansas as a law enforcement officer.
