Interactive content for LeapFrog screen-based game platforms - including: visual design; concepts; management of internal and external art development; user interface and menu art - including font choice and licensing requirements; maintaining visual integrity over multiple licenses (outbound and inbound - Disney, Nickelodeon, etc...); working with internal web, marketing, and sales teams to create promotional materials; Proprietary gaming platforms - wearable tech; various Leapster and LeapPad; iphone apps; e-books; and more. Workload is between 10 to 15 titles of various complexity, at any given time. The gallery below is just a very small sampling of the number of games I was involved with.

Provided visual direction for the FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER next-gen console game, to coincide with the release of the 20th Century Fox motion picture. Challenges included: following the visual style set by the film for existing and new characters/environments...all the while, establishing a unique game look and feel compatible to the game design. After pre-production phase my role shifted to managing other aspects of production art, internal and external efforts...including: object creation;FMV cinematics;marketing/promotional artwork creation.http://www.2kgames.com/riseofthesilversurfer/It's interesting to go to the official site (see above), where you can read bios for the heroes and villains...which I wrote. The challenge for most of this game was merging a film-version of the FF, with the traditional elements and storylines of the comic book characters.

For several years I freelanced, doing just about every kind of art-related job a small town could offer:Designed and illustrated various print-media jobs, also running the print-job itself(menus, brochures, t-shirts).Mural painting: from bathrooms with monkeys and banana leaves, kitchens with Japanese maple trees, to an entire elementary school's rainforest themed interiors.

In this position I designed the layout of a weekly college newspaper, and handled illustration duties. I also coordinated the efforts of all of the freelance illustrators, handing out assignments and giving direction

I was responsible for the illustration of government spec. technical manuals, to be placed onboard the MHC class minehunter ships being manufactured for the US Navy. Using primarily AutoCAD, I created technical drawings from the ship's design documents and comparisons made with on-site observation.
