My career has allowed me to highly develop skills in motor coach travel, moving large groups of people. Years of intense tour planning throughout North America, attending travel shows and familiarization tours, so that we could offer all our patrons the latest in travel experiences. In the early nineties, I began working in Ottawa, at Queensway Tours and eventually purchased the company. Moving to this larger market provided me with a greater insight into the events and attractions customers would want to attend. During my day-to-day routine at Queensway Tours, I was presented with a couple of challenges, which I was not able to fulfill for my clients. There were always requests for destinations that were not deemed as marketable or popular as others, thus leaving people who wanted to attend or visit theses attractions/destinations, without an option. Also it was increasingly frustrating to have to cancel one day tours and disappoint the few people who were interested in these “One Day Escapes”Based on those observations, the next progression in my career would be to set up a unique company such as Concierge Touring Ottawa!

In June of 2003 I had the privilege of purchasing Queensway Tours. During this time period, I further developed my product skills, expanding the company into one of the premier tour companies in Ontario. Managing a consistent staff of 15, we introduced the company to all social media avenues, and continued marketing the product with an interactive website and our twice yearly 60 page brochure. Our association and commitment to such organizations as Ontario Motorcoach Association (OMCA) and the American Bus Association (ABA), kept our contacts and destinations evolving and our training current. We also continued to network heavily in Ottawa, supporting a number of Charitable Organizations.

Worked as General Manager, responsibilities included tour planning, sales, marketing, human resources, general accounting. Purchased the company in June of 2003
