My role here was to place the highest standard candidates to my clients within the Technology sector, specifically working with candidates who are experts with C#, C++, .NET, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, SQL Server, LINQ, MVC, Java, HTLM5, JavaScript (Angular.js, Node.js), Symphony and CSS. Through thorough search, screening, building & maintaining of relationships, I was able to produce the most effective staffing solutions to all of my clients. Feedback is something that I heavily go out of my way to take care & listen to, always ensuring that both parties in my business are absolutely fulfilled of their professional needs.

I headed the operation of three fully functioning 3.5 star hotel bars, ensuring everything flowed smoothly. Leading from the front, I managed a large team divided between the three different bars spread out across the hotel resort. Communication was absolutely critical, I needed to ensure that my team were crystal clear on what was expected from their performance, along with building effective rapport to understand employee & guest situations. My charismatic people's character was extremely beneficial for the role, allowing me to successfully motivate my team to perform at their absolute best at all times, consequently delivering the highest quality bar service for our guests. My high organisational skills were also heavily advantageous, ensuring that all administration of the department was kept at the highest standards. The skill that I developed the most in this role was one of logistics, particularly since I had to manage three bars that were quite a large distance from each other. How I delegated tasks and responsibility to my team was the key indicator for success within the operation. Overall, my leadership skills were greatly improved & developed to a much more prestige level after this taking on this role.

My main role here was to safely load guests onto the London Eye, and then safely load them off the ride. This included loading the gates which led into the boarding region, standing by the capsules with one other person making sure everybody walked into the capsule safely, and then back off safely. Every role required a radio which I used to communicate to the ride operator of any cautions that needed to be considered, such as wheelchair boarders and people who looked as if they would struggle walking into a moving capsule. All roles needed absolute professionality and awareness at all times, health and safety was extremely critical here, protocol was to be followed at all times.

As Secretary of Newcastle University Maths Society, I was responsible for the administration and organisation of the society. This role required me to have high levels of organisation which gave me the perfect opportunity to further improve these skills, as well as having high levels of communication, being a voice for all members and ensuring their opinions and points were successfully heard, including these in the agenda at meetings.

I led an events team and organized a massive event which was a replica of itv’s popular Take Me Out show, for over 250 students, recruiting participants for the show and managing the entire running of the event. Communication, logistics and problem solving was critical in this role because as expected, things do not always run as planned and it was my job to find a solution as efficiently as possible. Organisation was also a fundamental skill set I needed, making sure I assigned the correct roles to my team, whereby the roles adhered to their strengths.

As a Supervisor for Newcastle University RAG (Raising & Giving) Week 2017, I led a team of 15 people through a week full of charity events and fundraising, coordinating my team through the week effectively.
