I have always been passionate about automation, whether it's software or hardware; anything repetitive can be automated. When I built my home in 2009, I planned to automate the whole house as an integrated solution with security, lighting and AV to work seamlessly. There was no single solution that can do all the above. So my company began with the purpose of rectifying the issue I faced. After 23 years in the corporate world, both in the US and India, I decided to follow my passion for electronics at the age of 45. Confio is incorporated with a simple goal as a platform for integrated home automation with safety, security, lighting and comfort. Its primary intent is to be wireless with the stability of a wired network, yet easy to install within few hours.Fast forward, after six years, Confio is the largest manufacturer of Zwave wireless mesh network products, designed, developed, and manufactured in India. Confio is an OEM to fortune 500 companies and has a network of 60 high-end integrators.We have grown from being a home automation company to a platform-based solution for all existing and new startups who would like to design and develop home automation and power electronics products.
