The CSD Conference is calling for papers!Would you like to get involved in the KCL Conflict, Security and Development (CSD) Conference? Are you concerned about inequality? Would you like to speak up on contemporary global issues in conflict settings or development processes?Each year, the CSD conference invites renowned professionals, diplomats and academics to engage in interesting and meaningful discussion around pressing global issues. We are delighted to announce this year’s theme ‘The violence of global inequalities: a symptom of a greater disease’. We will explore inequality through its relationship with critical issues such as climate change, food security, gender, the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and the inequality-conflict nexus. The online event will be taking place on the 10th-11th June and facilitated via zoom webinar.WE NEED YOU… Our call for papers is now open! We want to hear your take on the violence of inequality. How does inequality manifest in your regional or study speciality? What are the important policy responses to addressing inequality? What are the long-term implications of persistent inequality? Write about inequality in a way that feels important to you.Papers should range between 500-1500 words.
