Server side developement Lead for Baidu Contacts Mobile App, Cloud application developement group, Mobile&Cloud Department.Baidu Contact is a mobile app providing enhanced features for managing contacts, server side features include free messaging via internet(text,picture and audio), friend recommendation, sns service federation, cloud based contacts storage, etc.Responsible for intra&inter work cooridination and communication as well as design review. Key projects include: 1. Introducing mongodb as persistent storage solution.2. server side SNS service federation.

Server-side development for Baidu Contacts mobile app. Core developer lead development on various sub-systems including storage, file sharing, network infrasture etc.1. Design and implement mysql cluster storage system, including mysql proxy middleware service, cache cluster and mysql cluster management.2. Design and implement photo and audio based messaging system. including HTTP-based API, efficient caching and photo manipuniation service.3. Review and enhance intra service connection selection strategy to provide better resillence to network/machine failures. 2 solutions and 3 implementaitons were developed.

Server side development for Web-IM project, Baidu Hi, Client DepartmentBaidu Hi is an IM service with 6 years development and *M on-line users.Web-IM is the subsystem providing web-based access. Refactoring the Web-IM subsystem, solve it's instability problem (due to data-inconsistence) and higher through-output. Design/develop/trouble-shooting a high performance/low-latency in-memory database (providing on-line data/state storage for webim), solving the data-inconsistency problem.Experience with large-scale Internet service, high-performance in-memory storage, complex distributed system.

Soso search engine applicaiton team, developer for Soso open platform.Soso is one of China's third largest search engine, the application team aims at providing cutting-edge search experiences (direct-arrive search box 直达区, open-platform 开放平台 for integrating third-party sources, the Soso.com web site and user center).Performance optimization for direct-arrive search box backend services, implementation/deploy a C++ based smarty template rendering service for better rendering. Participant the open-platform project, co-ordinate with various backend teams (spider, page-analysis, digest). Experience with search engine, large scale Internet services.

Data synchronization solutions for meego platform (SyncEvolution project).Meego (Moblin) is an open source project hosted by linux foundation, providing operating system & software stack for mobile devices (netbook, IVI, pad, etc.) Syncevolution provides seamless PIM data synchronization with multiple could services and peer-to-peer synchronization between devices.Integration and trouble-shooting with various third party cloud services (Google, funambol, Nokia ovi).Transport layer design and development (http and bluetooth), design and implemented peer-to-peer synchronization with various phones over bluetooth.Active participant in various open source project development. Experience with open source development process, mobile data synchronization solutions.
