I've worked on projects for:The World Bank, Annaheim School District, New York City Schools, Costa Rican Ministry of Public Education (MEPI), Dominican Republic Ministry of Education (MINERD), Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano, INTERLINK International Institutes, Al Yamamah University - Riyadh, Institute of Public Administration - Riyadh and Jeddah, Google Education Summit.

Supervise teaching internships, courses include Group Dynamics, Learning in Community, Peer Mentorship, and Integrating Technology in Teaching, and Peace Education (in partnership with the Conflict Transformation Across Cultures (CONTACT) graduate certificate program).

Responsible for the academic administration of seven graduate programs including degrees in language teaching, conflict transformation, international development, leadership and sustainability.Led an innovative partnership with Brattleboro town schools to bring foreign language to the elementary schools.Worked with the Conflict Transformation Across Cultures (CONTACT) and the Master of Arts in Teaching program in a cross-departmental effort adding a language teaching thread to the program and engaging more teachers in the CONTACT program.Developed and taught courses in Group Dynamics and in Technology/STEM.

Directed an innovative joint project of Tokyo Jogakkan College and The School for International Training's Center for Teacher Education, Training and Research that provided an English language medium degree program that integrated English language learning, technology, and study abroad. This project was part of a transformative institutional change that moved TKJ, one of Japan's oldest women's colleges founded in 1888, from a two-year school to a four-year school offering an English-medium bachelor's degree in International Liberal Arts.

As chief learning officer, I supported efforts that encouraged systemic institutional improvement and staff professional development, moving the organization individually and as a whole toward becoming a flexible and responsive learning organization. Was responsible for leading "Marlboro Renaissance" a major curriculum and recruiting project requiring close work with faculty leadership.Appointed to the position of chief of staff by the new president, I served as the stand-in for the president when he was away. In addition, I oversaw facilities, cafeteria and bookstore operations, and managed I.T., H.R., and Title IX services for both undergraduate and graduate campuses.Instrumental in having the school designated as a "Changemaker School" by the Ashoka foundation.

Realigned offerings to meet community and regional needs, focusing on "next practice" approaches to leadership in management and education. Developed new programs in teaching for social justice, teaching English as a second language, leading non-profit organizations, social entrepreneurship and project management.Grew the graduate school's consulting and non-degree programs and launched The Center for New Leadership as the umbrella for these efforts. The Center's Results-Based Accountability (RBA) training has been recognized internationally and has drawn participants internationally. Responsible for academic programs, budgets, admissions and recruiting, marketing, and operations for a 50,000 sq. ft. campus in downtown Brattleboro.- Partnered with GOOGLE to provide free training and support in adopting free digital tools for nonprofits.- Partnered with Landmark College to provide a Graduate Certificate in Universal Design and Technology Integration.- Partnered with Bennington School District to provide on-site professional development, undergraduate degree completion, and customized graduate programs for staff and faculty.Below are three links about the Marlboro graduate programs. In the second, a student describes their experience in the MS in Managing Mission-Driven Organizations, a degree that I developed together with the Nonprofit Certificate director and select MBA faculty in response to the lack of workforce development options for the nonprofit sector which makes up nearly 20% of the local economy.

Led the development and expansion of a globally focused Master of Arts in TESOL program, in online and blended versions. The program was unique in its focus on English as an International Language, and the cultural, political and socio-economic implications of this.Facilitated a departmental strategic planning process that resulted in realigning the department to focus on its core offerings in English language education and transition away from under-enrolled legacy offerings. Supported development of new internal partnerships, including an innovative studio-based sheltered English program for Parsons School of Design, and an English language for international students of music at The New School for Jazz and Mannes School of Music.
