• Invented solutions to system level issues including blockages in a parallel transport system for bulk solids, and resulting in 5 patent applications• Introduced and created tools and databases for a data-based problem-solving approach to issues with a complex material reclamation system for a 3D printer• Created over 50 parts spanning various subsystems for the HP 500 series 3D printer and oversaw their entire lifecycle from conception, to first CAD design, first prototype, integration into greater system, and hand off to manufacturing• Designed parts using polymer injection molding, bent sheet metal, molded silicone elastomer, and die cut foam technologies• Qualified the reliability of a positive pressure pneumatic powder displacement system using longitudinal life test data and statistical population projection.
