I am currently serving as a Principal Entrepreneur cum Manager at SMARTEXT Solutions, dedicated to Technical, Sales, and Business Development for The LYCRA Company. In this role, I actively contribute to new product development, address technical queries, manage after-sales service, and foster supply chain development for PAN INDIA customers. My responsibilities extend to promoting LYCRA® business through various PR activities such as exhibitions, webinars, seminars, and social media. Notably, we successfully implemented several LYCRA® Company innovations in INDIAN mills, some of which translated into commercial success.Within SMARTEXT Solutions, I also play a crucial role in the techno-commercial aspect, particularly in the BWISE® consumer experience store. The store aims to empower individuals by imparting knowledge about the basic science behind fabrics and garments, enabling them to make informed and wise purchasing decisions. Key functions include raw material and accessories sourcing, designing specs sheets, order planning and execution, value engineering, and creating media content to highlight product unique selling points. Under this initiative, we introduced over 25 styles across 9 categories and launched our own D2C platform website - www.bwiseestore.com.Before joining SMARTEXT Solutions, I held the position of Assistant Manager - Export at Gokak Textiles Limited, Belgaum, under the Shapoorji Pallonji group of Companies. In this role, I managed Cotton Compact and Slub yarn exports and domestic sales for Terry Towels, achieving a substantial increase in export sales from 4-5 containers per year to approximately 100-120 containers per year. Additionally, we saved the company from an export obligation penalty worth 22 Crores by exporting a record-breaking 243 containers in two-year spam to various countries, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Portugal, and Singapore.Demonstrating entrepreneurship skills during the Covid period, I co-founded the brand INDIENERD™ for graphic tees and successfully ventured into the business of customized masks. Notably, our masks designed for weddings, featuring the phrases "We are from Groom Side" and "We are from Bride Side" in Marathi, received widespread appreciation and were highly successful.My educational background includes post-graduation and graduation in Textile stream from DKTE's Textile and Engineering Institute, Ichalkaranji.
