Vikke R. Brooks is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 30 years of experience as a clinician working in the Behavioral Health sector. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with concentrations in Substance Abuse Studies and Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She then obtained a Master of Science Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked for the Department of Corrections, Department of Homeless Services, Hospitals, and Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities. She also has years of experience in Utilization Management both hospital and insurance based.Grounded in a collaborative and client-centered approach, Ms. Brooks believes that each individual and relationship is unique, deserving of tailored strategies for growth. She employs therapeutic techniques, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy, among others.
