I am an experienced Energy & Environment professional with an excellent track record and reputation. A teacher by passion, who has remained attached to academia throughout a career spanning more than 35 years. I have taught in reputed institutions like JTI, XLRI, IIT, etc. I was also involved at IEMS Jamshedpur - an NGO, totally funded and managed by Tata Steel. The institute engaged in environmental awareness dissemination and ran a regular diploma program where, as a Regular Faculty, I taught “Energy Environment Linkages” and Fundamentals of Combustion Engineering” from 1997 till 2001. I was also a Regular Faculty at the Vidyanagar Campus of BITS Pilani, where I taught “Energy Management” and “Quality Management”. I am an Innovation Counsellor and was responsible for conducting ‘Innovation Workshops’ for management and final year students of BITM under VTU.I have developed a course module for MBA and final year engineering students of BITM titled as “Innovation, Energy & Environment for Future Managers” to give a basic input to students before they embark on their professional life. After an enriching and fulfilling career, in a move designed to give fruit to my dreams and passions, I have relocated permanently to Kolkata, where I am now engaged as a Freelance Consultant to JSW Group and BEE and am also a Visiting Faculty at IIT Kharagpur.
