Femto Mobility Gateway is the Gateway that enables 3GPP compliant signaling between BSR cluster and a traditional GSM/GPRS/UMTS network.FMG addresses the requirement of inter-operability between a legacy macro network and the BSR network. The FMG provides signaling translation and message routing functionality to support the interaction with the macro network. This is achieved by letting the BSR cluster appear as a single virtual RNC (Radio Network Controller) to the traditional circuit core and as a single virtual SGSN (Serving GPRS Support Node) to the traditional packet core network.Legal Requisition Feature helps in logging call events such as RAB setup, Mobile Initiated SMS, network Initiated SMS in a xml file and periodically transfer it to a secure Server where the file can be stored for later retrieval for legal purposes.Involved in the Design of OAM Behavior and responsibilities for IuFlex feature and prepared the Design Document from OAM Perspective for the Feature.Designed and Implemented System Manager Constraints for IuFlex feature.Responsible for code merging activities and CVS repository maintenance.Environment: C, C++, RedHat Linux 5.1(RHEL), Valgrind, Shell Scripting, TCL/TK scripting.

Project: Network Subsystem Prototyping.; The Network subsystem has a main processor core that runs the operating system, device drivers and applications.. The Network subsystem has two modes of operation called "normal mode" and "Proxy mode". In normal mode of operation, the Network CPU will do the complete network services. In Proxy mode of operation, the Network CPU will be inactive and most of the peripheral components are powered-off. In this mode, there are no active jobs such as printing or faxing. In this mode, the Network subsystem only responds to the network queries and keeps the Network subsystem active in the network. The sub-module that responds to this network queries is called Proxy Engine. When the Proxy Engine cannot handle the network requests, it shall wakeup the Network CPU (associated peripherals will also be woken up by Power Management module). The decision of the processor core will be made based on the evaluating the FTP and SNMP Performance of the ARM and PPC processor coreEnvironment: C, Shell Scripting, ARM926-ejs embedded board, PowerPC 405 FPGA board, Red Hat Linux 9.0.
