It also requires liaising with peer GIA teams in Zurich, London, New York City, Stamford, Krakow and Sydney.

NatWest Markets / The Royal Bank of ScotlandWorked in 5 business divisions at RBS - Enterprise Solutions, Digital & Engineering Services, Risk Solutions, Capital Resolution and NatWest Markets (capital ring-fenced entity of RBS).Risk Management (Risk & Controls):- Developed and established a mathematical model - Operational Risk Appetite Model (ORAM) for quantification of operational risks at Enterprise Solutions. Visually designed on the principles of Design Thinking, it defined a new way of quantifying and presenting operational risks by adopting the taxonomy-wise scoring methodology of Risk Appetite Statements (RAS), based on RBS Operational Risk Management framework, paving the way to mitigate key risks in different business divisions.- Delivered the ORAM model in monthly Risk Boards to RBS's top leadership, as ORAM was the only quantified model in Enterprise Solutions that could produce a monthly Control Environment score and prioritize operational risks. It was also successfully established under the oversight of CRO Team (2nd line of defense) and Internal Audit (3rd line of defense).- Through ORAM the key operational governance was structured to measure risks in over 600 applications and govern about 5000 employees at RBS, along with mitigating newer operational risks such as Information & Cyber Security, IT Stability, Conduct Risk and Change Risk.AWARDS: Thinking Long Term Award (Oct 2018), Doing the Right Thing Award (Oct 2017)Others:- Implemented the Management Controls Pack (MCP), successfully adopting the Operational Risk Management framework and establishing the Risk & Control team along with measuring the Control Environment Calculation (CEC) score at Risk Solutions and Digital & Engineering Services.- Worked in develivering the monthly MCP operational risk model at NatWest Markets for different sub divsions: TMO, RCST and SS.

- Developed the application for performing the audit of key IT General Controls over confidentiality, availability and integrity of Tier-1 applications scoped quarterly by Chief Accountant Department (CAD) at Citi North America region – covering the design adequacy and operating effectiveness.- MI Reporting of adequacy and effectiveness results to the heads of business divisions and the respective FLoD counterparts.

Last Project: Responsible for OE assurance of SOX-relevant and CIA Critical/High applications in accordance to FIN-FSA (Finnish - Financial Supervisory Authority) requirements for BFSI legal holdings of a Nordic client.Responsible for developing and maintaining front-end applications for a Nordic general insurance firm. Followed the Agile model of delivering changes to production functionalities, ensuring that the business requirements are translated into an automated solution for the client.
