Coming from a large close-knit family, I grew up to understand the importance of support pillars and learnt that life is really about the type of person who you want to be and not what you want to be. So I choose to be good and generous, to give more than I take and to find joy in every day. My purpose and why in all that I do is to create human connection, it’s always better and easier together. Work in the disability and ageing space plays a special role that personally touches me deeply, I was a care giver to my dad living with Dementia. His journey taught me so much invaluable lessons and experiences and I have been a Dementia advocate since February 2021. As a working professional in the disability & aged care sector, I hope to be able to share my lived and professional experience to contribute and have a positive impact in the community.
