David is a Senior Associate with 7+ years of data center industry experience spanning various disciplines including strategy, finance, sustainable design, project management & oversight, quality assurance, supply chain resilience, procurement, vendor management, structured cabling, marketing, and business development. David’s most recent challenge involved a highly complex, international brownfield hyperscale development that required his on-site support nearly 7 days a week and 12+ hours per day. This program was riddled with unforeseen risks including a COVID-19 related work stoppage, supply chain constraints, and a union labor requirement, just to name a few. Most notable was the challenge in managing a necessary structural redesign of the shell building along with its corresponding downstream impacts to the original basis of design, scope, schedule, and budget. The project was completed within 6 weeks of its original deadline and with a financial impact less than 0.5% of the original construction budget.
