Managing a team of skilled and motivated professionals, I was able to establish a true high performance team that strived for excellence and success in everything they did.

Nuvias (was Zycko when I was a part of the company) is an international specialist IT distributor of innovative IT solutions, covering technology areas for every part of the business IT infrastructure. Zycko had a direct presence across EMEA and served the rest of the world from its UK based headquarters.This was a fun and pivotal moment in my career, where I progressed rapidly from manager to leader. An unusual function in that it was in-house but it also had an agency-like arm to it. In the early days, I managed multiple campaigns simultaneously from beginning to end, collaborating with my peers and ensuring I delivered value for my clients and the business. I quickly assumed responsibility for the UK team as well as the UK marketing strategy and plan. In my later years I managed the entire European marketing department, ensuring brand consistency across the region with local relevance. With the support and encouragement of the leadership team throughout my career at Zycko, I had the opportunity to really flex my strategic skills at a leadership level following the completion of my CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.

From the moment construction began on a new site I was responsible for identifying the target audience and developing aspirational brands that attracted potential homeowners who were eligible to purchase a home under the Government’s shared homeownership scheme.
