Howdy! A bit about me. I am a Remote First Engineer (pre-pandemic 😀). Get Sh.t Done mindset. Tech geeks me out. I can thrive anywhere in your stack. Be it a Front End, Back End, and DevOps. Try me. I immensely enjoy automation. Learning never stops for me, and therefore I read, but only read tech 🤓. Apart from being an engineer, I cook, travel, and hike. Have I built anything? Is that a question? I am an engineer. This is what I do. I build products. Build products to help take the mundane out of #devlife. Recent Products are, http://codejockey.io (JSON API CodeGen) https://terrajockey.cloud (Terraform CodeGen) Shall we chat?

Have You Ever Failed? You Bet!Fl-Draw, Tocotou, Recite Learning Jun 2015 - Apr 2022I see enough success talks. But what about failures? Do I have any? You bet! Fl-Draw - A Flowcharting WebApp. Single-handedly built a flowcharting app. My very first attempt at making a product. So how was it? Bruh! I put in tons of effort. In the process, I gained an immense amount of knowledge. Learned what it feels like marching towards the Unknown! Achieved two-faced results. Failure as far as the product acceptance in the market. Gained employment with a tremendous software company responsible for the FL-Draw's underlying stack! A win in my book.Tocotou - A desktop client for Amazon Web Services. Huge undertaking. Never realized the fact I'd always be chasing my tail. Jumped in without fear. Built a cross-platform desktop client for Amazon Web Services. Failed. Well not completely. Over the years I have learned, that this product needs a pivot. On my way to reworking and pivoting to make this a successful product!Recite Learning - A reading app for the kids. Built an app to help kids learn how to read. The app was slick with built-in text-to-speech support. Guided reading with different difficulty levels. And all the bells and whistles. App worked. We deployed it to multiple schools in Maryland. Sold over 500 licenses. However, the school system is as complex as government contracting. Not easy to implement new solutions. In the end, the cost of keeping the lights on outweighed the revenue of the app. Therefore, decided to close our doors in 2023. Just like the previous product, pivoting this app with the help of a few interns and planning to launch again with a different approach. After all, it is for the kids.CodePremi - A consulting arm. Running a privately held and immensely successful consulting arm to support my endeavors: Allows me to have my hands on the grunt work. Allows me to be an engineer first. Allows me to be always curious. And most importantly, feeds my soul!In short, Be Fearless, Learn to Rise from the Ashes, and Know the Unknown!
