Corporate Actions Associate
Current· Responsible for processing Corporate Action events, such as cash dividends, stock dividends, mergers,acquisitions, ID changes, return capitals, ticker changes, rights distributions, spin-offs, debenture call,and other activities in Advent Geneva· Creating and enriching entity-related data points through analysis of external and internal sourcesincluding websites, industry publications, etc.· Maintaining comprehensive records of corporate action announcements, processing activities, andrelated communications for audit trail purposes· Complete daily assignments and reported progress efficiently, ensuring transparency andaccountability in workflow management· Ensure data entry and updating of adjustment factors, strike prices, and coupon rates on securities inSecurity Services Master and Advent Geneva· Handling client escalations and queries, work with responsible teams to get issues fixed and escalatingwhere required for timely resolution· OTC derivative swaps creation for effective and backdated corporate actions on securities for movingtrade’s positions· Reconciliation of effective and backdated dividends, stock splits and return capitals on daily basis viaAdvent Geneva, Middle Office Monitor & Central Security Master· Identification of inactive securities in daily processes and terminating the same from Security ServicesMaster and Advent Geneva· Collaborated with cross-functional teams (DEV, QA) to implement new data requirements, resulting ina more streamlined operations process and timely issue resolution· Prepare regular reports summarizing corporate action activities for management review· Participate in training sessions on corporate action processes and data management tools, fosteringknowledge sharing and promoting best practices
