I am a dedicated educator committed to the successful education experience that all children should have. I taught 6-8 grade ESL: reading, social studies, and social skills for 5 years, was an assistant principal for 4 years, and just served my students & staff for 3 years as the Principal of Middle Level Learning Center in FWISD. I returned from a year off focusing on my older son to serve the staff at Sunrise-McMillan Elementary as Instructional Coach. I then went on to serve Crowley ISD as Assistant Principal of Crowley Learning Center for 2.5 years. I recently have taken a position as Assistant Principal at David L. Walker Intermediate. It is a prayer answered for me to serve the DLWI staff, students, and their families this year.My ultimate goal is to one day provide interventions and support for males diagnosed with ADHD in a boarding school environment. I want a safe haven for students that are in need of an effective educational experience and a loving home.
