I am a 2022 graduate of the Mississippi State University with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Currently, I am working as the Programming & Policy Director UMMC SAMSHA IHL Expansion Grant. I have been at the University of Mississippi Medical Center since July of 2022 service first as a Fellow with the Child Health and Development Promotion grant then as Lead Clinician on the TEACH grant. As a fellow I provide mental health and behavioral health services to children ages 0-5 and work toward promoting holistic care for families in Mississippi. As the TEACH lead clinician I provided Telehealth services to students in elementary, middle, and high schools in rural Mississippi. I have completed an internship at Hinds Community College with the Mental Health Services Department. I have previously served as a graduate assistant with Health Promotion and Wellness at MSU for a year and a half while doing my practicum with Student Counseling Services. My interest includes working with young adults and adults who are going through anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, LGBTQ+, family issues, trauma, eating disorders, and who are in occupations that are high stress. My Bachelor's degree is from the University of Mississippi with a concentration in Sports Management and Psychology. I was proud member of the Ole Miss Women's Golf Teamwhere I focused my academic work on sports and recreation administration, brand management, program development, and improving performance and motivation through psychology support. While at the university, I worked for the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation, gaining critical insights and experience on philanthropic giving and development activities.As one of nine members on the Ole Miss Women's Golf Team, I have worked diligently to make a positive difference both on and off the golf course. I have been named to the 2018 SEC All-Freshman Team, 2018 and 2019 SEC Community Service Teams, and 2019 SEC Spring Honor Roll. My work in athletics has also included serving in leadership roles on the Student Athletic Advisory Council for the past three years. As a former college athlete, I am well prepared to excel in the mental health and business community.
