Standardized model development and deployment from scratch within an existing Analytics framework. Collaborated with Stanford University researcher to implement logistic regression model for Chronic Kidney Disease risk stratification in Epic’s cognitive computing platform. Performed cross validation on trained models and evaluated by incorporating clinic capacity as a constraint. Deployed XGboost, random forest, and linear regression models for surgical outcomes and census reports. Jupyter notebooks serve as the training and production/retraining environment, allowing logs of every run to be monitored over time. Analytics team achieved AMAM stage 7 given by HIMSS by presenting use-cases of predictive analytics.

Online, 6 month data science program incorporating statistics, visualization and machine learning. Projects and assignments use real datasets to provide insights and prove technical concepts. Skills learned throughout the course: statistical analysis, experimental design, ETL with SQL, programming in Python, mathematical background of machine learning, and presenting to technical and non-technical individuals.
