In my current role as an Assistant Category Advisor for Pure Fishing I get to work directly with Walmart Merchants to help create the best product assortment for each part of the country. I am excited to continue learning and contributing to the CPG industry and the Walmart team.Prior to my current job I worked as a Territory Sales Lead (TSL) with The Hershey Chocolate Company in the Des Moines, Iowa area. In this role I was able to learn the value of working hands-on with products in retail stores and food accounts. In addition, I have also seen the power of building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers in multiple retail outlets.In May of 2023 I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Aviation Management. While wrapping up my time in Stillwater, I worked as a TSL Intern with Hershey’s Oklahoma City team, specifically in the Tulsa area.During my junior year of college I had the opportunity to intern at The Stable, Part of Accenture Song in Bentonville, Arkansas. During my time at The Stable I saw a well-rounded view the supplier industry and what is involved with selling products into the world’s largest retailer, Walmart. The knowledge I gained and the guidance I received was invaluable and the tasks I was exposed to will benefit me with my next endeavors.A fun fact about me is that I was able to earn my Private Pilot's License during my senior year of high school and I have since added an Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot's License. During my free time I can be found at an airport or enjoying the lake with my family.
