Having two simultaneous jobs has provided me with valuable experience in both manufacturing and technical support.MANUFACTURING – Attention to Detail!Vermont Microtechnologies mills and drills holes – some small enough to be at the micron level. Most holes are drilled into fist-sized products for wiring or other technical uses in a variety of industries. My role is to inspect and test for accuracy and thoroughness. Attention to detail is critical. The favorite part of my day is working as a productive team with my coworkers to make something better or more efficient. Problem solving and troubleshooting are a welcome challenge, and I always accept hurdles as a way to learn as much as possible.HELP DESK SUPPORT – Excellent Customer Relationships!My responsibility at Vermont Microtechnology is helping clients and vendors as they use their new or existing products and equipment. My responsibility with Saguaro Technologies involves IT support – phones, computers, networks. With both of these roles, sometimes I can answer over the phone, sometimes it takes a visit. Regardless of where I end up, my ability to professionally talk with people in a friendly way, and my expertise to explain resolutions or ask appropriate questions, is much appreciated by both companies and brings value to each.
