In this role, I have been at the forefront of designing novel solid-core fiber optic cables tailored for high-power laser and telecommunication applications. My work involves conducting computational data analysis and parameter optimization using tools like COMSOL Multiphysics, MATLAB, and Python to achieve effective single-mode operation.Simultaneously, I am making a significant impact as a District 7 Roadway Design Intern at the Florida Department of Transportation. My responsibilities encompass preparing crucial documents related to roadway variation approvals for FDOT's rehabilitation, reconstruction, and resurfacing projects. I actively participate in the QA/QC process to ensure absolute compliance with the Florida Design Manual, and I utilize OpenRoads Designer to create precise roadway profiles, driveway matrices, and turn lane evaluations.Beyond my research and engineering endeavors, I take pride in supporting my peers as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Technician in the Engineering Physics Department. I troubleshoot complex lab equipment daily and leverage my proficiency with Microsoft Office tools to facilitate physics tutoring for up to 30 students.My skill set encompasses a wide range of electrical engineering tools, including Multisim for designing and simulating AC/DC circuits and digital logic.
