I knew very early on in life that I wanted to work in a field of engineering. I started building with Legos at a very young age. Shortly after, I began taking things apart and putting them back together(or at least attempting to). Creativity and critical thinking have always been in my nature, I love to look at things outside of the box and offer a different perspective.I have been behind a computer in some way shape or form for over 15 years. Needless to say, I love working with CAD software! I was hired fresh out of college by a steel shelter manufacturer to build 3D models of park pavilions, transit shelters, clock towers, arbors, gazebos, etc. After gaining experience, I started performing quality checks of drawings and working closely with the production team to ensure quality of product.Presently, I work for a soft seating furniture manufacturer utilizing SolidWorks to design standard & custom furniture. This role has really allowed my creativity to shine through. I have also taken over in house embroidery, assessment of warranty products and coordination all of the safety duties throughout the company.
